Meezan Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst for our SME Banking division in Karachi. You will evaluate credit proposals from small and medium enterprises, conduct detailed financial analysis including ratio analysis, cash flow projections, and business viability assessments. Your responsibilities include preparing comprehensive credit memos, recommending appropriate financing structures (Murabaha, Ijarah, Musharakah), and presenting recommendations to the credit committee. You will work closely with relationship managers to structure deals that meet client needs while maintaining strong risk management standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep understanding of Islamic financing structures, the ability to assess business viability across various sectors, and knowledge of SBP regulations. You will also monitor existing credit portfolios, conduct periodic reviews, and identify early warning signs. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of credit analysis experience in a commercial bank, strong financial modeling skills, and a solid understanding of Islamic finance principles.
